Oh. so we throw out someone flawed with an 84 percent ACA record, anti-amnesty, and put in a phony liberal Democrat who will vote lockstep with Harry Reid, 100 percent and give him a majority to keep Obamacare and put another liberal on the Supreme Court, thereby tipping it?? I sometimes think these sites are pestered with phony “conservatives” who really are left liberals who work for the DNC and try to suppress conservative turnout in favor of the left. Roberts isn’t perfect, far from it, but he is MUCH better than Orman and the Demo Senate (and Ebola, mass illegal immigration, a leftist Supreme Court, and continuing open borders that a Senate Dem majority under Harry Reid’s leadership will ensure.
And I sometimes think a lot of people here have their heads stuck so far in the sand that they can't see what's going on around them. Roberts isn't in trouble because Orman is a true independent and a crack campaigner. Roberts is in trouble because he is the personification of everything that disgusts people about career politicians and the GOP establishment. He has treated the office like it was his by divine right and has made it clear that he couldn't care less about his constituents. He ran a horrendous shock-and-awe campaign against the Tea Party, tried to destroy their candidate personally and professionally, and showed nothing but contempt to them and their ideals, Now all of a sudden he needs them and expects them to just come back, kiss his ass, and vote for him. And people wonder why the Tea Party has thrown their hands up and said that there is nobody they can support in November?
Orman isn't leading because of who he is. He isn't going to draw legions of Wolf supporters. Orman is leading because Roberts had so alienated so much of the Conservative base in that state that they would rather stay home than vote for him. And that is nobody's fault but his own.
