Whether Catholic, Evangelical, or Protestant, looks like moral cowardice as well entrenched in what used to be the institutional bases of Christian life. I think that sums it up.

My husband and I have been asked by our oldest son to not talk about the Bible with his wife or children. "Mom and Dad there are some things you say that are uncomfortable to us and we have to explain to our children everytime you say something about the Bible to them, that is different than our beliefs." We told him, "then I guess your children cannot come over because that is all we are going to talk about, God commands it."
Haven't see my grandchildren since March 2014. Jesus Christ predicted this and we need to take a stand and make people uncomfortable with the truth of Gods Word, not backing down.

I’m so sorry to hear about the difficulties in your family due to your holding firm to your faith. I hope that in time, you will be able to have good relations with your grandchildren.

I’ll do that. I’ve met a number of them and am thoroughly impressed by what Christ is doing in their lives. The transition from high school to college is THE biggest step in their lives. If they have been caught by a safety net like Cru I really like their chances better than if they’re partying their brains out at school.
It takes tremendous guts to give your personal testimony and publish it for all to see. Which videos did you watch and suspect were superficial? Keep in mind that many of these kids were nervous but they really wanted to share their stories. Did you really watch any and truly listen to what their hearts were saying?
I suspect by your cynical comments that you don’t really think that they’re legitimate believers. It must really be depressing to be you.

IMO, it's like the military - You get out of it what you put into it.
Thanks for your post.
