I really doubt that these guys were a threat. Most likely, they simply wanted to defect and stay in North America rather than go back to Afghanistan. I don’t blame them for that.

Really? I couldn’t disagree with you more. If they wanted to defect, there is a process to do that. Guilty until proven innocent for these guys. Any other thinking puts us all at risk.
