Hiring un-needed, incompetent Affirmative Action employees to placate the EEOC played a big part in destroying the 100 year old company where I was employed.
Point well taken. Affirmative Action is a driving force behind numerous promotions in the private sector (and of course in local government). My last company suffered because of it. The rush to promote minorities was obvious, and damaging to company operations but once the PC train started down the tracks there was no calling it back.
