Louisiana Republican state senator Elbert Guillory released a hard-hitting ad against Sen. Mary Landrieu (D., La.) on Tuesday, saying that the Democrat has done nothing for the black community in her 18 years in the senate.
Mary Landrieu first ran for Senate in 1996 promising to be a champion for the black community. Eighteen years later, little has changed, Guillory says, standing on a street corner in Opelousas, La. Our communities are poorer than they were in 1996. Our schools continue to fail our children. Our jails are filled with young black men who should be at home being fathers. Meanwhile Mary Landrieu lives in a $2 million mansion on Capitol Hill.
The ad was produced by Guillorys Super PAC Free At Last.

Bump
The casino’s got their backs scratched.
Same can be said of every single democrat in office. I hope Landrieu loses big.
Miss Mary has more naturally blond hairs than I do....
I love Guillroy. Amazing man.
Sorry. Thought it was the other one.
The Landrieus are dynastic politicians. Look at the Eden her brother runs...New Orleans. She thinks she is entitled to the job for life_or until she can set one of her kids up. Look for her to run for Governor. Time for her to be unemployed..oh wait..she`s one of those eeevill millionaires!
Is ANYONE mentioning The Lousiana Purchase? where she sold out the country for a few pieces of silver?
Whoa, some black guy b!tching about the Democratic Plantation ... as I look into my crystal ball I see the IRS, NSA, FBI, etc. discussing their game plan now!
Awesome Ad!
Here’s hoping it does to Mary’s campaign what the mushroom cloud ad did to Goldwater back in the sixties!
Good on him for doing this.
And just about the only people planning to vote for her are black people, I saw a poll (here I think) she’s only got the support of something like 26% of whites.
Probably the best political ad I have seen in my lifetime. NUFF SAID.
No, but an ad on the television had mentioned that she is a supporter of and voted for the ACA. Nothing that mentions the machinations that went into the vote. On the other hand, I try to keep my awareness of political ads to a minimum.
Where is this same type of man in Minnesota/ Someone needs to take on Franken.
