If anyone is surprised that it finally showed up here then I am sorry to say it was a naive outlook. People should have been preparing accordingly. The upside is the US is far better off than those 3rd world hellholes that are being ravaged. I am not saying go hide in your basement or move to Anarctica. Start planning now on how your life may be impacted. The likely hood of actually being infected is low at least now but the impact of people panicking is rising. Know what to do and work out a plan with your family.

On a side note the medical definition of airborne is not met by ebola at this time. It is more like air facilitated as in large droplets.
