“Do you offer the same forgiveness to all others who commit murder and other crimes? If not, why not? “

I most certainly do.

In fact search FR records on what I said of Jeff Dahmer. He converted to Christianity and was baptized in prison before he was murdered. If Jesus forgives him then I forgive him. May God have mercy on his soul and I will be happy to see him in Heaven.

Same goes for David Berkowitz, who I have read that he also converted to Christianity and was baptized.

You may note that Berkowitz and Dahmer were in prison when they died.

I assumed, possibly incorrectly, that your post meant that women who abort their children should not suffer criminal penalties.

Was that incorrect?

BTW, I’m not really trying to pick on you. I’m aiming at all those prolife types who loudly proclaim that “abortion is murder,” and then try to dodge the consequences of such a doctrine, which is that the murderers should be punished.

By their actions they state that abortion is much less serious than “real murder.”

Just make clear that there are different kinds of forgiveness. Waiving the punishment for a criminal offense shouldn’t be confused with divine forgiveness. You have nothing to do with either one, unless you are a human or divine judge.
