Remember the Dalkon Shield! Made thousands infertile and was pulled from market. Enough time has lapsed that it’s thought to be forgotten Anyone considering an IUD must check it out.

Not only are the girls being targeted to young to remember the Dalkon Shield (which caused problems for more than 10% of the women who used it), their mothers aren't even old enough to remember it.
