I love Ted Cruz and he is my favorite US Senator and would make an outstanding POTUS.
However he has two issues in common with the current POTUS which could come back to haunt him:
1) He wasn’t born in this country.
2) He is only a freshman senator.

1) He wasnt born in this country.
2) He is only a freshman senator.
Neither of which have anything to do with him having the capability of being a great President.
But thanks for weaving your concerning into your post!

These didn’t seem to hamper Obama in any way, for TWO terms!!

1) He wasnt born in this country. But he is still a citizen by birth, which is the only definition of "natural born citizen" that has any legal weight.

Yeah I don’t understand that at all how he can run if he was born in Canada, maybe someone can explain that to me.

Well, the current occupant of the White House “fit the bill” on both of those and........ well, the rest is History.

Unlike the current president, he is a citizen, however.
This presidency has overturned the Constitutional provision that the President must be a citizen. That will be denied up and down, but that is the effect and we will see it played out in a future election.

John McCain wasn’t born I’m the US and was qualified to run.
George Romney wasn’t born in US and was qualified to run.
He may be a freshman senator, but being a Solicitor General is more experience than a Community Activist/Const. Lawyer.

Yep. That immediately disqualifies any white male candidate.

It doesn’t matter, he has one parent that is a US citizen, just like Obama.
He is eligible. So was McCain.
