I am watching this thing and all the arguing about using deadly force to confront fence jumpers. 16 over 5 years.
Not one of these brilliant congress people has asked why we don't just redesign the stupid fence so people can't just vault over it in the first place.

“Replace the fence with a better one” was brought up at least twice. Maintain the same wrought-iron form, but at least make it taller and harder to traverse.
