I notice that neither the press release nor the letter to parents mentions a single word about illegal aliens.
Scary that illegal children were put in public schools immediately without any concern for the American children. This is only the beginning of WOES facing America!
Good thing the parents of children attending these schools have lined up by the hundreds - outside of these schools/districts - to stop, or at least protest these disease-addled illegal kids being put into these classes, all across the fruited plains.
Oh, wait. I’ve not seen ANY push back, anywhere, by parents. Unless I’ve missed something :-/
Some of the freepers here will be thrilled because these immigrants weren’t subjected to the evyil government conspiracy of vaccination.

I was thinking the same thing. The government has decided not to enforce laws that are meant to protect Americans. The most innocent among us are paying the price.

My post: That 1982 Supreme Court ruling is the reason we need Constitutional amendments like the following to try to control illegal immigration:
1. "School attendance: Only citizens, legal residents, those with special student visas can attend elementary, high school, and colleges in the United States."
2. "One parent must be a citizen before a newborn child is given automatic citizenship."
3. Felony: We must finally get very serious and declare that crossing the border illegally is a felony. It sounds mean to call it a felony, but we must do it, if we will ever have any chance of controlling our borders. Having the same illegals crossing our borders over and over is wrong,wrong, and wrong.
Illegal immigrant parents come to the United States for the wonderful benefits that their children can receive, like a quality education and great health care. Can you blame them for making the dangerous, long trip with their young children, or sending their children by themselves with the hope that the United States will automatically let them stay?
I don't understand how a child can illegally cross the southern border one day and automatically be eligible to enroll in public school the next day. That is wrong.

At the recent La Raza conference in Cali---Cong Luis Gutierrez (Dem-Ill) lacerated Republicans over amnesty; he threatened Republicans---saying vengeful latinos would make sure they never win another presidency.
La Raza President/ and chief hater, Janet Murguia, told hyphenates that it sickened her to hear Americans chanting. She accused Murietta, Cali protesters of having "cloaked their hatred in patriotism" by shouting "'USA! USA!' again and again."
"It made me angry," she said. "In fact, I was outraged."
Murguia demanded amnesty and said the road to the White House for Republicans goes through the Latino community and La Raza. She also said Republicans who want to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program will not get Hispanic votes.
