I have tried several of his recipes and he is a “good cook”.

Of course when am able to produce a reasonable facsimile of the Schlotsky, McDonald, or others product at home, I feel liberated from the fast food joints and their prices. I can have it both ways, my way or theirs at my convenience.

Hubby doesn't like Schlotskys and there isn't one around here so I was out of luck until I stumbled up his clone. The clouds parted, the sun shined down and angels sang when I first bit into the homemade version! Yes, he's a pretty good cook and has a Taco Bell recipe which I need to try. Even if it weren't for the ick factor in eating out, I'd still cook at home due to the cost and we're out in the country so fast food isn't fast with the distance traveled.
