Video at link. When it comes to broadcasting, Rule #1, always assume the mic is hot! But Matt Pieper did make some good points.

Hear the righteous offense from the person running the video recorder? Imagine slamming deadbeats and someone gets offended by that? The reporter was right!

“Do they understand that the majority of the viewership in the Bronx is [on EBT]?”
I’d say they are well aware of that problem.

Do they understand that the majority of the viewership in the Bronx is [on EBT]?
Does the person quoted realize that is a PROBLEM, a BAD THING? Probably not. Probably feels good about himself for supporting programs that “help people”.

The comments make it real clear how New York could have elected Comrade De Blasio.

Interesting. I read a couple dozen comments and came away with the opposite impression.

Did you know that in a state like Tennessee, where there is no income tax, but a 9% sales tax instead, that all EBT card holders buy their groceries tax free?!!!!
Every effin day is a tax free holiday for them. That not taxing them is the same as income. So are free cell phones, housing vouchers, section 8, free medical care, free daycare, all that stuff is income under IRS rules.
They owe at least five grand a year in taxes on all the free $hit they steal from us. You would think the states and the IRS would be blowing a gasket over collecting the taxes on those "Benefits"?!

If we don't like how a company spends its money, we can stop doing business with them. If we don't like how the government spends our money (taxes), what options do we have? Some of the comments are great. Slamming the welfare-to-grave mentality, and how us workers are screwed by being forced to pay for it.

“Did I say that out loud?”
A thoughtcrime is an occurrence or instance of controversial or socially unacceptable thoughts. This comrade is going to Room 101.
Unless you are on FR, it is doubleplusungood to say what you are thinking.
Even on FR, watch out for the “You’ll make us look bad!” Jabberwocks.

And Dave wants you to also mention that parents do their f**king jobs and walk their little kids to school on their own and not rely on everyone else kind of like people rely on government assistance for their entire lives. And bye Felicia. I actually added the part about government assistance but its true. I mean, how old are these kids? Just saying what I think every single day. If he gets fired and comes to my city, I'd watch him. Hell. I'd have a parade for him.
