They’ve been running from the Kurds for a while now, especially when the Kurdish units with women in them appear on the field.
The Turks can tell you about fighting the Kurdz. The Kurds have always had minimal equipment but have beaten the krap out of the turks repeatedly even with all the Turkish horsepower. It’s hard to imagine the ISISes can muster anywhere near what the turks have available and the Kurds will not cut and run as the Iraquees did. A little bit of air support for the Kurds, and the promise of autonomy, would insure the demise if ISIS mach schnell.
