The number of Europeans joining Islamist fighters in Syria and Iraq has risen to more than 3,000, the EU's anti-terrorism chief has told the BBC.
Gilles de Kerchove also warned that Western air strikes would increase the risk of retaliatory attacks in Europe.
US-led forces have launched more than 200 air strikes against Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq since August and on Monday began targeting IS in Syria.
The UK parliament is due to vote on possible air strikes in Iraq on Friday.

It would be wonderful if ALL of the young Mussulmans in Europe and American would rush to join in the Holy Jihad with ISIS and if they would all then be barred from returning to their host (as in host-and-parasite) countries. Then we could let the Navy and Air Force work out righteously.
That's 3,000 people who never belonged in Europe in the first place.
They SHOULD BE barred from returning under ANY circumstances... But, Europeans have way TOOOO much tolerance for that.
That right there is enough stupidity to choke the whole stable.

Contrary to unknown reasons by Governments to import Arabs and such, Islam/Muslims
will always be terrorists. Liberal do-gooders who think playing nice with Islam
will make them Not want to be terrorists but this is not true and they'll kill
you all just the same. Islam will have it's day in the EU and multitudes will die.
Twice as many “British” muslims have gone to Syria to join ISIS, than have joined the British military.
That is all you need to know about “moderate muslims” and their true loyalty.

IMHO their prayer/community centers aka mosques are actually armories and command centers with ready made watch towers. If we are targets we too will have multiple targets.
