The national chamber is one of the nation's loudest advocates for amnesty for people who broke the law entering the U.S. Chamber President Tom Donohue even went so far as to warn the Republican Party on May 12 not to bother running a candidate for president in 2016 absent support from the congressional GOP for immigration "reform," a term that has become synonymous with amnesty in recent months.
