450,000 in Va. may lack proper ID needed to vote [libs already making excuses]

About 450,000 voters in Virginia may lack the proper identification needed to cast a ballot in the November midterm elections, the Virginia State Board of Elections said Thursday.

Under a state law that took effect this year, Virginia voters must present a driver’s license or some other form of photo identification at their polling stations before they cast a vote.

Although voters who lack such proof would be allowed to fill out provisional ballots on Nov. 4, election officials hope more people will obtain state ID cards or some other valid form of identification so that their votes could be more easily counted — particularly in the event of close contests.

“It’s so much easier if there’s a live vote,” said Cameron Quinn, the voter registrar in Fairfax County, where 13,690 registered voters lack state driver’s licences.

The Virginia law that was passed last winter is part of a tide of state “voter ID” laws enacted in recent years, generating criticism from groups that argue that the laws unfairly target immigrants and low-income voters who are less likely to have a driver’s license or other form of photo ID. Of the 34 states that have passed laws requiring voters to show some form of identification at the polls, Virginia has among the strictest rules.

Well, they ax me when I buy my Night Train.

That's not really the issue. The issue is the Virginia 10th Congressional District race -- which includes Fairfax County (a/k/a the home of MS-13). The Dhims are going to need those Salvadoran and Honduran votes to win the race.

“If they do then it is because they are too lazy, stupid or ignorant to get one.”

I’d be willing to bet they all have a photo ID of some kind. Being forced to show it and prove who you are will limit dems to only one vote per person. It may even exclude the dead from voting.

I think most dead voters cast their ballots directly into car trunks.

So there are 450,000 people in Virginia who are not able to go to the airport to get through TSA and get on a plane? And there are 450,000 people in Virginia who can't check into a motel, take out a library book, or buy a bra at TJMaxx?

Sorry, but somebody is lying.

Nope. The Republicans have teams at every motor vehicle office ensuring that those lacking a drivers license don’t get in the office to apply for a state issued ID card. They tell them that the card costs $2,000 to apply for and the office is closed until after the election anyway. Damn those Republicans!

They can go to the DMV and a picture ID that looks like the drivers license but does not give you the right to drive. This form of ID has been around for 20 years in North Carolina.

Forcing people to have the proper IDs, or birth certificates, Social Security Numbers, or in NC we can show proof residence with two months of utility bills in your name to vote....

The North American Identity Card issued by the Department of State is another form of identification that utilizes several valid forms of identity papers to verity before issuance and it is good for 10 years costing only $20.

Once the photo IDs are in place and verifiable this can be used by State, Local or Federal Governments to ensure people are eligible for benefits. The crux of the ID debate is deeper than just one vote per person who actually shows up at the polls, it is about benefits that cost the voters/tax payers.

Yup. And John Foust (D Candidate VA-10) needs each and every one of those potential voters.

One needn’t be an actual citizen to get an EBT card.

Needn't be to vote either.

So this is the number of fraudulent voters?Divide by three to get the actual number; that's the average number of illegal votes each one casts.
