First: government NEVER publicly admits to ANY mistakes or failures. The failures are always attributed somewhere else, usually the people who have not provided enough money for government to "fix" the problem. The "problem" never gets fixed and the government never has enough money. Government is: you take an entity and you take away reason and accountability.

Second, proof of Bush's equivocation for Iraq was the hastily and deeply flawed, basically ignored and rejected "Bush Doctrine" as the reason for invading Iraq.
