That's why I think the smart play for Obama is to appoint a white hetero male, to counteract that. Think about it,he could appoint a white guy and no one would question his racial intentions, especially the media. We wuld hear he's the most qualified for the job, etc. Only the far lefties like Mother Jones et al would say anything, but their vote is sewn up anyway, so who cares.
That would be the smart play, but it is Obama, so that's not what will happen...
