Regardless of their chronological age, the one thing I’ve noted of liberals the last 20 or so years is how socially immature they are. Obama’s cup salute, the middle finger scratching his temple, etc....like a 13 year old boy with no manners. And all the liberals thinks this is clever.
Liberals like the flap because they, like Obama, hate the military.
The Code of Conduct instructs that if your hands are full, you don’t salute.
Obama has never read the CoC of course.
Funny, they ALWAYS troll the Internet to try to equate GWB with Obama. The Military loved and respected GWB, as he did them. The whole WORLD knows how Obama thinks of the Military.

Just curious, Obama has never served in the U.S. military. Although he is C.in.C, he is a civilian. What is the proper protocol, as a civilian is he required to salute?

convention I would love to see the old Vets stand up at
the completion of the speech and, with styrofoam coffee cups
firmly in all right hands, salute our POSPOTUS. Think that
might go viral on YouTube?
PS: It would probably be a good idea to use empty cups.

Maybe members of our Marine Corpse personnel ought to casually, half ass salute Obozo. Hey maybe they’re not doing it intentionally, they just don’t realize that not kissing his ass is disrespectful. So how could they be blamed?

He’s not required to salute, but if he’s going to do it, he should at least learn to do it properly.

Every once in a while we see the authentic Obama: arrogant, contemptuous and exhibiting an odd juvenile behavior.
It sorta also reminded me of his deep bow to the Saudi Royals few years ago. That was ‘unusual’ too.
The Bush salute was awkward, and he knew it, but he was attempting to make it with great effort, even with the pup in arms.
The Obama salute was made as a thoughtless gesture, just in passing. He didn’t even look at either Marine.
