If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten married earlier, and started having children earlier. I’ve been fortunate to have had a lot of experiences in my life so far, and have seen lots of different parts of the world, but none of that has any meaning when compared to having a child and a family. Nothing. I started relatively late. It’s so ironic that the result of ‘higher education’ is often to get so wrapped up in career and whatever ‘success’ is that you put off or never do what’s really meaningful in life.

The reason is simple: the Millenial generation--though the MSM is loathe to admit it--is surprisingly obsessed with their financial situation just like the generation that grew up during the Great Depression of the 1930's. In short, they see too much government control of the economy and a huge mistrust of many financial institutions, especially the aftereffects of the 2008 stock market crash and the fact there are still a lot of economic doomsayers out there.
