The worry was Ebola could be used as a bioterrorism weapon; now Mother Nature seems to have pulled the trigger instead.
Which will make it easier for the BioTerrorists to transmit it here.

If we do so, it is showing American power. That is no longer allowed.

The epidemic is here. It is far too late for drug development, we need to prioritize drug production, medical training, and practicing containment procedures.

And only the most advanced hospitals working with the NIH while getting waivers from the DOT can handle the 20 barrels of ebola hazardous waste per day per patient.
Just wait till they show up in NYC.

No, silly. We’re too busy killing children in the womb, letting “gays” redefine sacred institutions, and hanging Mexican flags in our schools.

All it takes is for one suicidal jihadist to get himself infected and to come to the US before he starts showing symptoms.

Much like HIV/AIDS, we’re going to spend billions finding a cure for something preventable (quarantine anybody?).

Which is it WaPo? Do you want drug companies to develop new drugs, or do you want to prevent them from making profits? You can only choose one or the other.

We have an existing, natural barrier to Ebola. It’s called the Atlantic Ocean, and Ebola cannot cross this boundary without our consent.
Treatments are fine, and a vaccine would be wonderful, but as of today, modern science can cure exactly 0 known viruses.
So why not rely on quarantine, as even the ancients were sophisticated enough to do.

I was hoping to see Liberia go flatter after their 3 day lockdown. However, it may be that the 3 day lockdown helped them find cases resulting in a sudden spike.
