Good morning natualman1975.

I checked your profile page...I think you should post a picture/tribute to a fallen Aussie at the FR Canteen whenever you can...as our ally, we need to honor them as well.

I need to update that - hoping to do it in a few days with my son’s help. We’ve lost one more since the last time I updated it - Lance Corporal Todd Chidgey, 2nd Commando Regiment, Australian Army died of a gunshot wound at the Australian Headquarters in Kabul on 1st July - Australia’s first fatality in over a year. Exactly what happened is still under investigation (and out of sympathy to his family, we are asked not to speculate while that is ongoing, so I obviously will say no more).

WELCOME TO THE

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities
Happy Rosh Hashanah!

We're having a nice rainy day;
well, actually it started last night,
and is moving north today, but
it won't clear up until tonight.
Wish I was home to really enjoy it. hehe.

The FR Canteen is ALWAYS

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

Good morning to everyone at the Canteen. It's a cool 65º here this morning. Sure beats the mid to upper 70s we had all summer.
