Not every libertarian is the same.
I believe that laws are necessary to protect the liberty of the individual.
A law defining marriage the way it has always been since God created it should be fought for and defended.
The destruction of this institution will collapse a society which is bad for the liberty of individuals across the nation.
Also, a law prohibiting abortion is perfectly consistent with my libertarian philosophy. A pregnant woman’s freedom over her body ends to the extent that her actions deprive the innocent person inside of her life and liberty.
I really like Andrew Napolitano. As lawyers we both view the Constitution and the role of government pretty much the same way.
Just be mindful that not all libertarians are the same, just like not all conservatives are the same.

By the way please note the lower case “l” I put in libertarian.
I vote GOP, often holding my nose.
I do despise the statist and the nanny state along with the standing army our founders sought to prevent.
