As I said, most people in that area are panicked and carrying. Nobody that I know or have heard of is complaining. They want this guy caught!

I carry pretty much all the time anyway.
Whether or not a known killer is on the loose in a given area, there are plenty of unknown killers and miscreants out there as well.
