I wonder if he’ll use the Cochran/Barbour/Rove playbook for “reaching out” to rat voters. It should work about as well for him as it’s going to for Cochran, in the general election.
I don’t think he could get enough Rats to make up for the lost conservative voters. This is a losing strategy numbers wise unless of course the GOPE finally comes out of the closet and admits they are the little me-me’s of the socialist/communist Democrats.
But in that kind of an election who are you going to vote for if you are a low information, hand permanently extended for a hand out, the party that says you can have it all for free or the party that says you can have it all but pay just a little...
