This is quite the rationalization.
So if the mother rejects her baby, the baby has no soul. Obviously the baby is being rejected, so there’s no soul to have to worry about when you take the baby’s life. Wow. These people can talk themselves into ANYTHING being ok.
Well, it DOES seem plausible, there ARE a few mothers who never accept their own offspring and there DO SEEM TO BE some soulless monsters walking around. I suppose whether the father accepts the baby has nothing to do with it either way.
