I think the GOPe drank too much of their own Kool-Aid. They figured they could beat up the base and we would still come out for them. I know I won't.
Good for you. If we let Rove, McConnell, Cochran and Barbour get away with what they did in MS, the Conservatives are done in the GOP.

I was a GOP party member, worked in the local office, served as an election judge, and gave to the party. First, I stopped giving to the party and began giving only to candidates. Second, I asked to be taken off the membership lists. Finally, this election I told the local office stop calling I won't help out anymore.
It became crystal clear to me that the GOPe doesn't represent me when a majority of Pubs in Congress exempted themselves and their staffs from obamacare and thought it was okay that it should be imposed on me and my family.
