If I were his campaign, I’d be all over that, but Romney — the political sensei for these establishment types — ran scared on Benghazi when he should have pounded them.

CEW, who was your candidate against Tillis...what would he have done?

consultants are a requirement when you are dealing with the massive new data systems and micro targeting campaigns. They do have their place. However any candidate that hires this perennial loser for any reason other than to keep him out of the race is asking for defeat.

Meh. Have a good message, and the rest takes care of itself.

Egad, what a worm.

Remember Dean Wormer's comment about Neidermeyer? "Put Neidermeyer on it. He's a sneaky little sh*t, just like you, right?"

He's a political Neidermeyer.

Not sure but he also predictably picked Peter King(?!) over Ted Cruz and f'ng ThadEnough? Cochran over Chris McDaniel, earlier this year.

Greg Brannon was my candidate - Tillis was my second choice, albeit a distant second to be sure.

Brannon, had he hired me, would have run a hard hitting “it’s all about Reid and Obama” tea party campaign focusing on Obama Care, the IRS, the VA, nanny government, spending, etc.

a good message is meaningless without the proper contacts in the “at large” media.

A consultant is selling their contacts as well as knowledge. Who are the needed condo commando leaders? Who is the local producer for the reporters? Church leaders? Synagogue? house of worship?

A sad commentary, even sadder that this guy always gets work as a GOP consultant.

It's disheartening to see the new combination of a brain dead GOPe and a fractured conservative movement that has no unified plan or vision, both sides trying to come to grips with an ascendant left.

As an aside, is anyone going to DC for the conference this weekend?

The GOP losers always get another gig. Everyone on Mitt’s team is doing well professionally - and they never win.

Any way to get Greg Brannon to give Tillis a piece of his mind? I despise the McCain’s and Romney’s who primary to the right and general slightly to the left of middle. They’ve always struck me not so much as liberals —which they are— but as cowards.
