Tens-of-thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of New York City Sunday to demand political leaders take action on climate change.

While the protest remained peaceful, much of the “People’s Climate March” appeared to be made up of fringe elements of the political left.

Dozens of signs denouncing capitalism were spotted at the demonstration, often held by self-proclaimed socialists. “Capitalism is destroying the planet,” a sticker on one woman’s shirt read, “We need revolution, nothing less.”(continued)

Climate change, “sustainability” with a reduced standard of living for the peasants (read socialism,) is all part of the implementation of UN Agenda 21. It is SUCH a crisis that it DEMANDS the sacrifice of your property, liberty and local representation in favor of regionalism. Nasty stuff this and it has taken deep root in California.

I’m over here in Poland for a couple months expanding my business.

I challenge these idiots holding signs saying how wonderful socialism is to come visit the pristine spaces the soviets left for the former soviet bloc countries. Send them to the bustling modern city of Havana. Venezuela is so green and sustainable that their socialist paradise has eliminated the need for toilet paper.

Pollution is ok as long as it is a government that does it. A case in point is the Milwaukee sewer district. Every time it rains they dump millions of gallons of sewage into Lake Michigan and that is fine. The real problem is when a construction site has some dirt run off it's site during a rain. Or when one sewer line was hooked up wrong at Miller Pork (Brewers) and fed into the river. They were quick to track down that source and levy a huge fine. But MMSD, that is ok because it is govt doing it.

Environmentalism is the new post-Christian pagan religion for many as well; many on the fringe who lost their identity when the war they protested against in Vietnam ended have found new meaning to their lives in it.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

We don’t know, but without the sense of purpose this gives us we are insignificant. /s

This is just a way for people who have aborted their own children and been through mutliple marriages to pretend they are “good”...

Their “revolution” will bring starvation first. And by the way, did Communism in either Russia or China result in less pollution?

Convenient cause to bring together a diverse group of far leftist to make them appear larger and more mainstream to the general public.

PR stunt by democrats to help the sagging party.

I’m confused...didn’t the press yesterday proudly proclaim that “310,000” marchers crowded into NYC to demand climate change or something? Now it is only “tens of thousands”?

Looks like they left enough trash for 310,000 but you have to wonder where the bigger number came from.
