You missed the point. Allowing them to attend colleges is one thing. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS, not “Mexican kids” as you called them. And as such they deserve ZERO benefits, special treatment or special rates. Certainly nothing that American citizens do not qualify for.

I am not missing the point. They have to be in the process of getting their citizenship to qualify for in state tuition. Not promising to do it later but “in the process” of doing it and they must have graduated from a Texas high school.

After floating across the Rio Grande on an inner tube (yes I have seen it with my own eyes) You think that “in state college tuition” is why their parents brought them here..? NO it's not.

Should people be able to float the river and stay here? NO......... but it's too late to kick these kids out, like it or not they are Texans.
