One of my best friends in the 1980s had been stationed at the Schofield Barracks. I had never even thought about it but he said the native Hawaiians are very hateful to Whtes.
I was amazed at the amount of Japanese living on the islands...Not a friendly bunch at all...I suspect there are not many actual native Hawaiians left on the Islands...
