Talked with my wife. We have a kid to put through college first. Then hopefully if finances allow we’ll seriously consider it.

Thank you!

You’re welcome. It really is a nice place on the island. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Hilo and is a large community. We own property there and at one time our plan was to retire there. That window closed when one by one our parents started getting ill and passing away.

Looks like it might be in the path of the lava flow. Not exactly the same area but close.

Pahoa... which is relatively close to Paradise Park. I am only mentioning this because we are seriously considering your recommendation. As I mentioned, a few years out.

Yeah I saw a while back that Pahoa was threatened.

I hope it goes well for them. This seems to be an area of higher activity on the Island. I remember the tour guide stating that the North East of the island is “where you can see an active volcano.” Apparently, there are nice hiking trails to the lava fields and of course lots of helicopter tours.

The volcano is pretty cool. You can drive to a spot and park and watch the lava flow into the water. When you get out of the car you can feel the heat coming through your shoes from the warm lava you are standing on. Hate to hear this about Pahoa. It’s a nice little town.
