Big talk behind a keyboard...yawn....
Some folks have family to consider.
The cartels aren’t sitting across the canyon waiting to do battle.
They know who the protest leaders are and where they live.
It’s another good reason why we need to secure the border. These are criminals and foreigners come to tyrannize American citizens along the border (and across the country if we don’t stop them). They kill people in horrific ways to set fear in the minds of the citizenry. The US govt has an obligation to intervene and all they do is sit on their fat arses. The border with Mexico should be militarized.
Right you are. The cartels are (obviously) not honorable. They will target the children of the militia leaders. Children will just disappear while walking to school or going to the store, etc.
The cartels will wage unrestricted war. And only a state, or the federal government, can successful overcome that. Citizens cannot project the power needed. All we can do is defend our own homes (and vote for the right leaders).
Where would we be if the Founding Fathers had felt the way you do, hmm?
