Some of the worst beer I’ve ever had was Moskovskoye, which was ubiquitous in Moscow when I visited there when it was still Soviet and Leonid Brezhnev was the head honcho. It came in thick bottles, like Seven Up, and was always served warm.
In the better eateries, you could get a cold bottle of Stella beer from Egypt.
I’ve had Russian brewed beer here in the states,
can’t say it was bad....it wasn’t anything,it was like water.
Makes PBR seem complex by comparison.
