I don’t know about the Churches, but certainly the Public Schools have failed in their mission.

It’s hard to make it in the world if you can’t read, write and do arithmetic.

Public employee unions must be gotten rid of, esp. the commie symp teachers unions.

Until that happens expect nothing to improve.

Ah!....That would be true if the mission were to produce a nation of literate and morally grounded citizens...but...that is **not** their mission and never has been. Please read John Gatto’s history of government education.

Government schooling is fundamentally a price-fixed, single-payer, and socialist entitlement. It's mission is to produce citizens who are comfortable with big government socialism.

If the voting mob can give a child tuition-free schooling, isn't that child at risk of learning that same voting mob can give them **lots** of “free” stuff?

If a child sits in a godless classroom won't he learn to think and reason godlessly? He must just to cooperate in the godless classroom. How could it be otherwise?

If a child is **forced** into a prison-like government school environment, herded about like a prison, isn't he at risk of learning to be comfortable prisoner of the state?

Please remember that it only took one to three generations of the government's socialist-entitlement schooling to give the nation Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The churches have failed, too. Most fail because they turn children over to the godless government schools. And....Even many of the spouses of ministers work in the godless temples of humanism.

The so-called Christian teacher who works in the government schools risks sending an evil message to naive and inexperienced parents. Gee! If Mrs. Honey Bun ( who directs the children's bell choir) teaches in the the government schools, parents may wrongly conclude that the godless government schools aren't that bad.

Are there good Christian teachers in the government's godless and socialist-entitlement schools? Yes, there are but they don't last long. They are the teachers who warn all parents about the dangers and urge parents to remove their children. They are the teachers who actively protest the insane policies. They are the teachers who are shunned by the administration and fellow teachers. They are the teachers who don't last long in the system.

Public schools have SUCCEEDED in their mission - their mission being to dumb-down all students by a factor of 10, and to thoroughly indoctrinate all students in a Marxist/atheist world view.

They have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams, as about 60% don’t know the three branches of our government, and know nothing of current events.

...the Public Schools have failed in their mission.

Not when you consider their mission changed sometime in the 60s, to creating good little socialists.

I submit that perhaps the Public Schools have actually succeeded in their mission.

“It’s hard to make it in the world if you can’t read, write and do arithmetic.”

Nonsense.

Roughly 45 million kids attend public school. Are you saying they are all going to be uneducated failures?

Give me a break.
