And remember, you’re not allowed an attorney or a jury in traffic court.

I cannot believe that. I have been to traffic court in podunk towns and many people had lawyers.

You have the right to be represented by an attorney in court in front of a judge.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

If you’re charged with a misdemeanor or felony, you have a right to an attorney.

If its a lesser offense, its considered a low level proceeding.

I’ve been to traffic court and they do things different than in the superior court.

I’ve had 3 in the last 2 years on speeding charges. I never went to court and the charges fluttered away like a butterfly.

It takes an understanding of the system. Instead of check-writing class in HS, maybe a misdemeanor ticket class is better served.
