That would be a lot of confusion to forget whether the Russians are invading you or rescuing you from yourself.
The thing is - if you look at the Ukraine - the country is about 60-70% pro Russian on the east side...and it moderates in the middle...and then they are about 70% pro-EU in the West. The Ukraine is a long "country" East-to-West. So even at the ends there would be "partisans" for the other side. I'm just saying it could get ugly....and I hope it can be worked out some way because whichever side starts winning - that will motivate the other side.

Generally speaking, an invader is a foreigner with the intent to occupy or control another country.
Exactly - so the pro-Russians see NATO as the invader that ran off the elected leadership of the Ukraine....and the Pro-EUs will see Russia as an invader...and there is the rub.

With the Russian Army quickly broken by Air power, any pro-Russian partisans would probably go back to ground.
Anyway, so it gets nasty, if Russia invades us and we have to fight then it sure wouldn’t be nasty like we were facing during the Cold War, when Russia was powerful and capable of, and built for an attack on Europe.

I’ll just take your comment to mean that you didn’t follow the results of the last election in Ukraine.

Personally, As an American, I just want to avoid American boys involved in a ground war in the Ukraine vs. Russia (whether straight up or by semi-proxy)... which may be harder than our Generals tend to think it might be. These things can escalate.
...and as a human being I would hope we can avoid a couple hundred thousand casualties on whichever side and the devastation war usually brings to an area.
I’m just saying that both sides will think they are right, and you can’t change their minds.

Still we should be sending the Ukrainians the weapons they need to repel the invaders.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! Ukraine’s Poroshenko begging Congress for military aid: “Can’t win a war with a blanket!”
but, we can send all the muslems military supplies that will be taken by terrorists... where is the logic?
