That sounds like a plausible solution. However, with all due respect, you have a misplaced faith in the Republican Party. There are very powerful, intrenched money interests and a deep seated organizational culture in place that run the party with an iron fist. I know a number of people who have worked inside the GOP machine and just don’t believe the party is capable of meaningful change. Believe me, the TPTB in the party know how to manage those who would dare to challenge to the status quo.

It would take another Reagan to reform the party, but even then it would only be temporary.

I don’t expect the Earth to move with Republican gains, but I would be nice to get out of the hell fire of Obama/Reid and back into the pan. We’ll cook slower.
