2100 is a LONG way off.
their estimation may well be as far off.
Right.
These predictions have been made for decades and have invariably not panned out.
The USA during the 19th had one of the highest birth rates ever recorded. Were it not for recent immigrants, we’d now be well below replacement. Same for Europe.
A couple of decades ago, the Muslim world had very high birth rates. Today most of these countreis are near and in some cases below the US.
Same with East Asia and Latin America.
There is no logical reason at all to assume that Africa alone will continue to have high birth rates indefinitely.
With the rate at which elites are pumping out the FREE birth control on this planet, seems highly unlikely.
No kidding.
The way the Ebola virus is spreading, and Islam is killing, I think we are closer to 5 Billion by the middle of this century.
Hans Rosling has an excellent TED talk on the “great fill-up”, how we’re at peak child of 2 billion but how the leveling off of the population will put us at 10 billion people.
