These predictions have been made for decades and have invariably not panned out.

The USA during the 19th had one of the highest birth rates ever recorded. Were it not for recent immigrants, we’d now be well below replacement. Same for Europe.

A couple of decades ago, the Muslim world had very high birth rates. Today most of these countreis are near and in some cases below the US.

Same with East Asia and Latin America.

There is no logical reason at all to assume that Africa alone will continue to have high birth rates indefinitely.

The way the Ebola virus is spreading, and Islam is killing, I think we are closer to 5 Billion by the middle of this century.
