Imagine that - stupid, ignorant blacks going after people who are trying to help them.

Is the village named Ferguson?

Deeply held ignorant beliefs, superstition, and backwardness will win out over science and reason every time.
These people cannot be helped.
It is virtually impossible to save people from themselves if they don't want to be saved.

Sounds like just about every democrat plantation in America.

Those on the "democrat plantation" vote for the promise of more "free lunches." They RUN to the Democrat money tree, all on the backs of those of us who PAY.

Americans voted them in for EIGHT LONG YEARS. They got what they paid voted for. Majority rules. You KNOW that many Republicans and Independents voted for them too; otherwise they wouldn't have won TWICE.

Seal Africa off and let this run its course

I've already been totally flamed for my view...The do-gooder aid workers should not have been treating for Ebola. They should've been training Africans to take care of their own. Of course there's resentment when they go home to get treated and Africans are left there to die.

My modest proposal. All of those refugees from Somalia and other Africam cesspools? I'll be honest; I don't think I'm the only US citizen who doesn't want them here. How about training them to provide health care and sending them back to Africa to provide it?

I find it interesting that the article doesn't even attempt to explain why this slaughter occurred. No reason at all is given.

This. It's the old “trying to teach a pig to read” conundrum.

A friend, former NY resident, said firemen were sniped at going into burning buildings, to put out fires.

I think Ebola, and the changes in behavior that the threat of Ebola would bring, would be even more devastating to the US than to a a rural, agrarian society. Our economy is so interdependent on the goods and services we provide each other, what would happen to our economy when everyone suddenly stops going to all the restaurants, and coffee shops, sporting events, movie theaters, taking plane flights,...

...this could never happen in the US; now I'm not so sure

With the threats of disease and ISIS-type terror, it does seem there's a real possibility of more than one threat at the same time causing dangerous times. If that happens, the gov will be reassuring the public, thinking it will avoid panic and not mess up the economy. It will be business as usual.

I'm keeping my eyes and ears opened, because I know if it gets bad, the gov will not tell everyone to stay home and shut things down for awhile. I'll be prepared with supplies (including entertainment options) to be able to self-quarantine for a few months if necessary.

Will it happen? Probably not. But if it does, don't depend on honest information from the gov.

Yes, and from a population that voted for Obama twice. The greatest danger to the US is not just Obama but also from a majority of the population that votes for the siren call of free stuff and socialism/Marxism.

should have had government soldiers escorting the aid workers.

In many parts of Africa-hell THAT will get you killed quicker than the natives.

Well, since the government policy is leaving the borders open while actively importing thousands of illegals and sending them all over the US, they sure won't tell us the truth. Also, Obama is now going to bring in thousands of Syrian refugees who will be almost entirely Muslim and probably contain Jihadists, as well. These are the actions of a government which is at war with its own citizens.

That's a consequence of implementing communist/socialist style centralization of economic control and regulation. Wickard v Filburn and the New Deal "substantial effects" doctrine of the Commerce Clause effectively gave the federal government the authority to force people into that interdependence, and they've done it at every opportunity.

“North Africa (where my father served in WWII, then in Anzio) is Arab and Muslim.”

Muslim isn’t a race. Frankly, I think it stands they and the rest of Africa are savages.

Yep.

Someday, one way or the other, King Jug-Ears and Queen Moochie will no longer be soiling the White House.

But the Gibs-Me-Dats and other idiots who put them there will still be out here breeding and voting.

Has anyone in the Obama administration given any thought to the fact that the 3,000 soldiers we are sending to Africa could very well become targets for Boko Haram and other groups looking to make a name for themselves?

If s/he did, it was ONLY that those 3000 MEN (women aren't in combat) are "expendable assets."

Hubby is a retired county firefighter here. The last 11 years he worked was in a small town that is 98% Mexican with a ton of illegals. They have a huge gang problem. They were issued and wore bullet proof vests on every call. The fire engine would get beer bottles thrown at it. The station was shot up in a drive by. Broke out every glass window in the front of the office.
