I live in eastern Michigan, on the coast of lake Huron. I’ve been turning my heat on at night for the last 5 nights. I don’t usually start that until 2 to 3 weeks from now. we’ve already had 2 frosts. Last winter we pretty much beat all cold and snowfall records going back to the 1880’s. Another winter like that and I’m applying for a job at Disneyworld.

3 nights ago I turned the heat on as I live in the upper NE near Canada. The house was getting cold after sunfall. I turned the heat on to 68 to let the water run thru the pipes again (it’s been off all summer) and have a bit of warmth. 2 night the temps are going to go down & we’ll have the “first frost”.
I’m a weather watcher myself but then again I love cool summers and long winters... maybe I’m anomaly , I love fog, damp & rain, too.

I’ve been nurturing the local weed in my garden known as the montauk daisy. They only bloom in the fall with crisp nights and warm fall sunshine.

I’m waiting for them soon to bloom and the big show they put on. Thav have dark glossy leaves and present as a shrub during the summer growing season.

I enjoy reading all those weather records going back to when it was recorded - you’ll possibly find the BEST records at the Library of Congress.

I think the Library of Congress is the only institution that this regime has not sculpted out to fit it’s agenda,
so there’s a head’s up on the weather from me to you.

DizzyWhirl? omg! that’s so funny~
