The definition of Serial Killer and Mass Murderer are in Wikepedia...

That's not what I asked. I asked about Mass Shooting & Serial Killer.

Why didn’t you just look it up on the internet, or are you one of those who have to confront what you do not understand?

Asking for clarification is pretty common on FR, and in life. I suppose the only field it is NOT allowed in is Law Enforcement. You're not used to being questioned, are you Officer?

You can google ‘mass murderer’ or ‘serial killer’.

What I did was Google the terms that you ever-so confidently misdefined. I'll note that your Wikipedia link is for "Spree Killer", while your post 31 addressed "Mass Shooting" & "Serial Killer". I takeoff 10% from my MBA students for citing Wikipedia and another 10 for using an irrelevant search term. You're in C+ territory, and I didn't even deduct for misspelling "Wikipedia" yet.

I went to my university library and the Pearson Higher Ed website (using my professor login). I found no standard definition for "mass shooting" after reviewing three criminal justice texts and several journal articles. The FBI uses the term "mass murder" when 4 or more people are killed in a single episode.

I will ask politely, again. Do you have a source for your definitions?

Why don’t you take your pompous ARSE, who wants to be a critic and shove it....you aren’t fooling anyone clown!

You are a troll who likes to take their leftist position to create chaos. Maybe you should check the FBI website again and learn math...more than three is four.

Wikepedia is your speed and gives what you need, because anything more complicated and you wouldn’t understand it.
Professor of what? Not Criminal Justice for sure.

You Professor?...hahahaha...a 4th grade assistant sounds more like it, because all the Professors I have known already understand the terms, and do not need to ask the question in the first place. Elementary school children know these terms, because the news media uses these terms on a regular basis and they are so common they need no explanation!

Truth comes from many places and you aren’t anyone I would take instruction from, because you are insane...promoting yourself like you are something important with the right to criticize something you know nothing about vs elementary school children who could explain it to you.

If you had Googled, you would have found a correct article explaining both terminologies. I do not owe you an explanation of any kind, however maybe this article may help your lack of knowledge of normal media terms that have been in existence for decades:

All the knowledge you will get from me....

Oh.... about my misspelled word...I’m in good company with Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, and Benjamin Franklin:

Seriously, do you really think you aren’t as transparent as a piece of plastic wrap.

"The FBI uses the term "mass murder" when 4 or more people are killed in a single episode."

Isn't that consistent with the usage on this post? And why are we quibbling about this? "Multiple shooting," "mass murder," "mass shooting" - what's the big difference?
