I have been watching Sasol for 7 years, what seems to be the hold up? GTL and some sort of Fischer-T coal to diesel would blow the Pickens Plan out of the water.
US is the “Saudi Arabia” of coal.
If all long haul fuel is synthetically produced here. Plus 25% of fleets or civilian vehicles are powered by diesel, along with another 20% of civilian vehicles are converted to CNG, we could go tell the Saudi’s to “pound sand”!!!
Not to mention the squeeze that the drop in crude prices would put on Putin.
