Not a fan of the George Bushes, but they were able to make friends and to call on them to help from all over the world.

Our current president has dismantled those relationships, all except for the muslim radicals.

As of 732, the date of the Battle of Tours. I was quarreling with the assertion that Charles Martel’s victory represented the “highwater mark” of Islamic expansionism.

Every place I listed was deliberately chosen because later Islamic expansionism washed over them, often with devastating results.

Very true for that end of Europe, but I find the Battle of Vienna a little more significant since it was Sept 11th.
