Police: Milwaukee Teen Sought to Rack up Crimes Before Turning 18

A Milwaukee teen charged in a string of armed robberies last week told police he was trying to do as many crimes as he could before he turned 18 on Sept. 11.
Rocarldo Chalmers is one of five suspects charged Wednesday in a dizzying spree of armed stick-ups and car jackings that only ended after a high speed chase. Chalmers faces 10 felonies, including armed robbery, car theft and fleeing.
Isiah Deshawn Thomas, 18, is charged with five counts, Anthony Griffis, 17, with two. Two juveniles have been charged in Children's Court. As many as three other suspects remain at large.

This is nothing new. We were burglarized 3 months after moving to one of Milwaukee's northern suburbs. When they caught the perps, one of them was about to turn 18 and he ratted on the others. They would ditch school on Fridays and break into houses. They did at least 8 in my county. So much for our juvenile laws!

On top of that, they have astute knowledge of how the legal system works, and in much more profitable and entertaining way than the boring civics classes I took when I was a kid.

Pixote the movie. ferrel juveniles in sao paulo, brazil. They aren’t prosecuted because they are underage so they are used by drug dealers et al to commit crimes.
