It’s actually more stable in cold. It’s the humidity it likes.
140F and over attenuate/kill it.
If it likes the humidity, then winter will certainly have an effect on in, not for the cold but because it becomes so stinking DRY.
Cold air cannot hold the moisture that warm air can and when cold winter air comes into a building, the relative humidity plummets.
