Yes—it started in 2001 at 9-11. Its still going on with fights in North Africa and the Middle East and others. It will not be an easy victory but first we must believe we are in a war.
9/11/01. Tactically, it was not a large blow - but its relevance as a WWIII start date is that the world (or those parts of it choosing to pay attention) realized that the actions taken that day had tens of millions of sympathizers.
911 is another possibility to be the first event of WW3. But it didn't have to start the downhill slide. If GWB had worked to make the US safe (like getting rid of illegals and keeping them out) instead of destabilizing the mideast, things might not have reached this point.

Its all to long to put into words but I'll explain our current situation. What we are witnessing is something I never thought I would ever witness. We are heading into our 3rd religion war at the same time a heating of the Cold War. NATO, UN, and the United States and allies have invaded countless countries creating new enemies when they killed the original ones. The 12th Imam and the Book of Revelations to me are the same story. Just one is an antagonist and the other a protantagonist. Chaos is needed for both story lines to come alive. I hope I'm wrong and this does not end up in thermanuclear warfare. But from my understandings of history, human behavior, the strange in the natural cycles of the Earth and Cosmo. Something is happening and we are not prepared. There is no way to prepare for the end of days.
