That's part of the problem. Every man that doesn't press charges when assaulted by a woman is one less showing up in the statistics. That's why the statistics are so lopsided, even though we all know women commit domestic violence as often as men.
It might seem easier in the short term, but the one sided reporting and policies for domestic abuse, not to mention the money taken from our wallets to pay for the one sided policies, are the long term result.
Men are afraid that if the cops get involved, the man is the one who will be arrested and charged, regardless of the true situation. Thus, it's best to walk away from the crazy woman.
