The article does not mention Hillary’s talent for trading hog futures.

I think Hillary is taking a high profile position not so much because she really wants to run for Pres.

I think it's more about getting out there in the limelight to protect herself from the Benghazi hearings. This way she can say "it's just about politics".

I think she's scared.

*She is manifestly ill-equipped to be president and has shown no talents to be a chief executive of anything, let alone the most powerful nation on the face of the earth.*

The exact same qualities that the Dems were seeking in 2008 when they fould Obama!

Couldn’t we just have a cartoon character in that office for the next few years?

It would do less harm

"She was a laughing stock in the middle east and far east ( mainly because she is a woman) ..."

Was Condoleezza Rice a laughing stock? (Perhaps she was - I don't know.)

At the beginning of the year, Hugh Hewitt, on his radio show, would ask every Democrat who was on that radio show to tell him ONE accomplishment of Hillary Clinton. None of them could come up with even a single example.

She did rack up a lot of frequent flyer miles, though. I'm sure the Dems will tell us that shows how competent she is to be President.

If GOP leadership once again rams the likes of Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush or some other RINO down our throats, the Party of Lincoln will be the exemplar of a Profile of Failure — and it will also mean hello President Hillary.

Then America will continue to be a failure at home and abroad.

Not to be a cut to women but the Russians, Chinese and Arabs don't recognize women as a power figure. Especially one who looks like Hillary.

Obama crowed about his accomplishments, that he'd kept his promise to end the war in Iraq. “After almost nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over.” (Obama, October 21, 2011)

Who could forget 2012 candidate Obama's campaign ploy---- repeatedly reassuring Americans that he had “decimated” our jihadist enemies---famously saying "Bin Laden was dead and al Quaeda was on the run."

Bill Clinton weighed in, as well---invented some cockamamie story WRT whey he didn't nail B/L....even though he knew where he was. For all we know, B/L could still be alive.

And here's another "shining" example: Obama gave GWB a slapdown----blaming Bush for Obama's having to go back to wage a war Obama had previously bragged he, himself, had ended.

How'd he do that?-----using the magic of "smart power"---a term coined by Hillary Clinton.

======================================================

ALL YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT "SMART POWER": Hillary played a huge part in Obama's "Smart Power" debacle.......together with her all-girl State Dept airheads.

Hillary's abysmal record as SoS needs intense scrutiny. She globe-trotted incessantly and stupidly delivered the wrong reset button to Russia; she sucked-up to the blood-thirsty Muslim world and sap-happily thought she was making peace just about everywhere.

===============================================

Behold what "Smart Power" hath wrought: Debacle after debacle---Obama's careening and incomprehensible handling of the Syrian crisis, Benghazi, Ukraine, Boston bombings, Muslim jihad.

Obama's a US ntl security and foreign policy centerfold---he's stark naked before the world----naive, isolated, and outlandishly stupid..... displaying a buncha State Dept/NSA boobs as advisors. Obama gave his van driver a seat at the national security crisis table. Some 5 million of Obama's hand-picked boobs have top ntl security clearance. Who are these people?

Democrats' 'Smart Power' Lies in Ruins; Suddenly
Realizing What They Miscalculated About the World

National Review | Sept 3, 2013 | Jim Geraghty / FR Posted by kristinn

....... Democrats are suddenly realizing that their foreign policy brain-trust completely misjudged the world.

Being nicer to countries like Russia will not make them nicer to you. The United Nations is not an effective tool for resolving crises. Some foreign leaders are beyond persuasion and diplomacy. There is no “international community” ready to work together to solve problems, and there probably never will be.

You can pin this on Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice, but most of all, the buck stops with the president. Those of us who scoffed a bit at a state senator ascending to the presidency within four years on a wave of media hype and adoration are not quite so shocked by this current mess.

We never bought into this notion that getting greater cooperation from our allies, and less hostility from our enemies, was just a matter of giving this crew the wheel and letting them practice, as Hillary Clinton arrogantly declared it, “smart power” (and fronted Time magazine cover).

(These people can’t even label a foreign policy approach without reminding us of how highly they think of themselves.)

They looked out at the world at the end of the Bush years, and didn’t see tough decisions, unsolvable problems, unstable institutions, restless populations, technology enabling the impulse to destabilize existing institutions, evil men hungry for more power, and difficult trade-offs.

No, our problems and challengers were just a matter of the previous hands running U.S. foreign policy not being smart enough. (Excerpt) Read more at nationalreview.com ...

She’s not a failure to the American people, who adore her and “Bill” and want them back in the big house so they can look after the “common man” once more. (Yes, people really are that stupid!)

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe the American people don’t mind being a failure at home and abroad? It’s in their nature.
